Bio
I was born in the twentieth century, to a ballet dancer and an artist. My music journey started when I was two. My mother took me to watch the Sleeping Beauty at the opera house. I don’t remember, but she says that I stood up and waved my arms conducting through the whole show. Tchaikovsky is my all time favorite ever since.
My aunt had a piano, and I played on it since I was tall enough to reach the keys. Couple years later I started taking piano lessons and composed my first piano pieces. The first piano performance took place when I was 9, at the same opera house stage where I had seen the Sleeping Beauty. By that time I was studying at the ballet school and got a reputation of "that kid who plays piano". I remember how the classmates always wanted me to play for them during class breaks. Later, I was accepted to the city's best music school, but didn’t go, because I didn't want to leave my friends at the ballet school. It was a magical and unforgettable time in my life. I was lucky to take part in the most famous ballet productions.
Later on, my mother was invited to teach ballet abroad and we moved to another country. Upon arrival, I took part in a concert of child prodigies and also participated in a live music TV show. I went on to study piano at a prestigious music school. During the high school years I wasn't too serious about my music career, even though I did keep studying professionally and was a winner of scholarships. After graduating I had my first solo recital and went on to study for my classical piano performance degree. It was then that I started songwriting and composed a few piano pieces that were included in my student performances. With a very talented friend of mine we co-wrote a few songs and uploaded them to Myspace and YouTube. We named our project Faerience. It was an immediate success attracting more than 20 thousand fans. We got a request from the Universal Publishing branch in Berlin, but unfortunately we did not keep up, because by then we both lost interest in songwriting. Later I understood that I probably unconsciously headed towards piano solo music that was natural and dear to me since childhood. After Faerience I went through a long mental and emotional wandering, mostly studying sciences and working for a few hi-tech projects. Only occasionally did I compose and upload to YouTube. In 2016, following that long journey of self-searching, I realized that music is something that I must do, because it causes me the greatest pleasure and feeling of self-realization. And there I was back on the track that I started many years ago. Since then I have composed and recorded lots of new piano pieces and even two pieces for pipe organ.
